Have had this ukulele for about a month. It’s got great sound, easy fretting, beautiful intonation, and it is gorgeous to look at. It also came with aquila nylgut strings, which was a pleasant surprise. These are the best strings in the business and it’s nice to see that attention to detail. Great tenor ukulele, I would recommend it to anyone wanting to expand their collection, or start learning this great instrument.- for the price you wont find a better looking tenor uke! Craftsmanship is just perfect, comes with grover tuners and aquila strings so you won’t have to swap anything with this Uke. Sound is very good. In my opinion this is one of the best Ukes in the price range.
- I saw the spalted mango OU-7 and fell in love. It is simply beautiful and has the same brightness and playability of the OU-5. Ukulele Mike on youtube.com plays Oscar Schmidts and swears by them. I play in a large group and swear my Oscar Schmidts hold their own against handmade ukes costing 5 times as much as mine. This is a great first uke.
